Question 1

Do I need to download or install anything?

Accepted Answer

No. MoyStream runs entirely in your browser. Just sign up, create a session, and start streaming. No downloads, no plugins, no installs.

Question 2

Which browsers are supported?

Accepted Answer

Studio works on an up-to-date Chrome, Edge, Brave, Opera or Vivaldi, and on Safari (Mac and iPad), on a computer or tablet. Firefox is not supported: it cannot record video in the format the platforms receive. When it opens, Studio checks that your browser has what it needs to stream and tells you if something is missing. On a phone, use the MoyStream mobile app as a camera. MIDI control needs a browser with Web MIDI (Chrome, Edge or Opera; Safari does not include it).

Question 3

Can I use my phone as a camera?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Scan a QR code from Studio using the MoyStream mobile app or your phone's browser, and your phone instantly becomes a wireless camera source.

Question 4

How many platforms can I stream to at once?

Accepted Answer

It depends on your plan. Free lets you stream to 1 platform, while Pro lets you stream to up to 16 platforms simultaneously.

Question 5

Is there a free plan?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The Free plan lets you use 1 camera on 1 platform with 720p quality. All paid plans include a 30-day free trial.

Question 6

Can guests join without creating an account?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Guests just need the invitation link or QR code. They can join from any modern browser or the MoyStream mobile app, no account needed.

Question 7

Does Smart Switching work with any camera setup?

Accepted Answer

Smart Switching works best with 2 or more cameras. It needs to see faces to make switching decisions, so make sure your cameras are pointed at people.

Question 8

Can I use a professional camera or DSLR?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Connect your camera via a capture card (like Elgato or Blackmagic) and it will appear as a camera source in Studio.

Question 9

Where are my files stored?

Accepted Answer

By default, media files are stored locally in your browser. You can connect Google Drive to sync your files to the cloud for backup and cross-device access.

Question 10

Can I cancel my subscription anytime?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your plan at any time from your profile settings. There are no long-term commitments.
